Two V8’s, and two belt driven superchargers on wide open empty stretch of road made for a fun for these two drivers! A ECS Supercharged C6 Corvette BATTLING it out with a Procharged 5.0 Mustang in a neck and neck back and forth show down. Both of these machines have very comparable power and were INTENSE watching to see who could edge out the other. Running around the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, we came across these two drivers eager to see which platform proved best! Close races like this are exhilarating, especially when it’s all in good fun!

  5. I hate Toyvettes because they are so "mainstream". I cannot stand "mainstream" anything, including the "news"! LOL!
    People never seem to realize that Vettes and Stangs are a completely different class of car, YET Stangs will kick Vette asses many times. THAT is something to crow about.

  7. Chevy this ford that – – blah blah blah. Remove all the mods and at the end of the day – the vette is a VETTE, and the mustang is – well, just a mustang. 😉

  8. To everyone saying that coyotes are so good and they are “giving corvettes a run for their money” are out of their mind. first off, the corvette was only running 9lbs of boost which is not that much. it was never stated how much the mustang was making.

  18. Any word how much power the Mustang puts out? I've been watching other videos of Cammed Vettes for Coyotes, the Coyotes usually need about 100 extra whp to either keep up or take down Vettes making mid 500whp. I own a 2011 5.0L and while its a great engine I know the car has its downfalls.
