8. Why is there so much food wasted in America? They would rather it be sent to landfills than feed our hungry. Watch dumpster divers pull 30-40 loaves of bread–bag after bag of apples oranges berries–greens–can products–bags of potatoes and the list goes on. Acres of food turned over in the ground–no gleaning of their food. No one teaching home economics on how to prepare food and save food. No teaching on basic money management to ensure you have food and not to waste it just because it is easier to throw it away.

I know "guys" is used as an expression, but "Let me ask you girls this," in my opinion, would have been correct. Other than that, I'm thankful that she did this story.
