  9. We should be celebrating this historic victory for Biden/Harris and moving forward with a smooth transition. Instead, Trump and many of his enablers continue to spread lies in order to try and de-legitimize the results of the election in order to corruptly gain a second term. Trump has lied and lied and lied all throughout his time in public life, and he is lying now when he tells his supporters that he won or that this was some sort of fraudulent effort. This is part of a pattern that needs to be called out: Conspiracy theories are dangerous lies that are spreading too far across the internet and too far across our culture. Conspiracy theory lies about our food and products, about this election, about the government, about mail-in voting, and about so many countless issues are becoming too common and need to end. What is the end result here with Trump pushing another alternative reality? In general, how does a culture of misinformation and false suspicion do anything but cripple the country and the progress it seeks to make?

    Trump and his followers won’t tell you the truth, but people need to hear it so the nation can heal and move forward. The truth is, this election was honest, transparent, and accurate. The truth is, an historic number of people cast their ballots and gave the Biden/Harris ticket a clear mandate. The truth is, there is no evidence of any fraudulent activity that occurred in the vote count. The truth is, Trump's lawsuits have no legs to stand on and will uncover nothing and change nothing, because there is nothing to find. The results of this election are clear: Joe Biden is the winner.

    Going even further, the truth is, there is no such thing as a deep state. The truth is, there is no evidence that 11 million people voted illegally in the 2016 election. The truth is, President Obama was born in Hawaii. The truth is, there is no evidence of fraud when it comes to mail-in voting. The truth is, our food and products are safe from chemicals. The truth is, 9/11 was a terrorist attack committed by Al-Qaeda. The truth is, the only threat to the integrity of the 2020 election is Donald Trump and his lies about it. The truth is, there is no such thing as secret societies running the world. The truth is, there is no conspiracy against the world. The truth is, climate change is an existential threat to humanity and needs to be addressed; it is not a hoax as Trump says. The truth is, gun violence is an epidemic in our country that must stop so no child ever needs to go to school in fear again. The truth is, racism is still a persistent problem in our country that needs to be addressed so all people can live in peace and feel like they belong. The truth is, masks save lives and are not a partisan issue or cultural statement. Donald Trump and his followers won’t speak truth, but facts are facts and the country needs the facts in order to move beyond this stagnation and write the next chapter in our history. It's time to go forward!!

  24. There is no victory the news does not pick the president the voters do. So stop saying Biden has won the election he has not the counting isn’t done and the electoral college has not signed off on it. The News Used to have integrity in this country but no longer. They are bought and owed by the people who want to control the news and the people, When the real votes are counted and validated and then you may say who our new president is but not until then.

  26. Gotta love people who have no idea what they're talking about, but thanks to the propagandists…I mean media, they think they're right and have it all figured out. People have completely lost the ability to think for themselves,because why bother doing that when the media can just tell you what's the truth and what you should believe. How does nobody understand this? Recounts and closer scrutiny is not "undermining" the election. It's exactly the opposite. I can't believe that people can be hypocrites on this level. Just like 2016 when everyone here saying Trump needs to concede, were all demanding recounts and calling to abolish the electoral college because Hillary lost.

    What are the democrats so afraid of? If this was really a legitimate and fair election and they are so confident of that fact, then it is 100% in their interest to show the American people that is the case. Trump is not undermining or attempting to de-legitimize the results. The democrats and the media have already done that themselves over 4 years of lying, hiding, censoring and conveying opinion as fact.

    The mistrust of this process existed LONG before it started. If there is nothing to hide then there is nothing to fear. If the situation was reversed you all know damn well that the same thing would be happening, just the opposite parties saying the opposite things. Not only have all states not even finished counting initial votes, recounts have not started. Yet the media seems to want to push this idea that THEY declare the winner of the election, NOT the electoral process.

    I know what you're all thinking. "This guy is just a crazy Trump supporter." Well, I'm not, sorry to burst your bubble. I'm a person who bases my opinions on fact, not some low IQ pleb who makes judgements based on what side of the imaginary line a person declares themselves to be on.
    If this was a legitimate and fair election that followed all of the proper laws and guidelines, then Biden should be doing exactly the opposite of what he is doing. Let the lawsuits and recounts happen in a fully transparent and fair manner. Biden has literally nothing to lose if there is no irregularities in how the election was carried out. I would also like to remind everyone that in 2016, Trump lost the popular vote. People need to understand that our election system does not hinge on the popular vote (something that I think needs to be changed). The electors do not meet to officially select the president until December 12. If I was Joe Biden, I would be doing everything in my power to prove to the American people that I won fairly and legitimately. Not fighting the process of doing that, tooth and nail until then.

    It's time for the people of this country to act like adults REGARDLESS OF HOW THE PRESIDENT ACTS. The president does not dictate how you think and act. Stop playing this game of red and blue and come together as Americans and make sure we get this right. This election will literally change the fate of the entire world, good or bad, so we had better make DAMN SURE that we get it right.
