28. I had an abusive husband. When I left and attempted to file charges and emergency custody I was told I would be charged with kidnapping if I cross a state line with my children and the only way I can press charges is to go back to the state where abuse was happening, including rape.
    Imagine you excaped near death and rape because you used your body as a human shield to protect the children only to be told you will be arrested for kidnapping and the children given to him plus ask where is your proof without police looking for or at evidence
