Its becoming less and less common to see a Ford powered Fox Body at the race track these days. So its refreshing when we see a fresh Ford small block build that hasn’t even been dyno’d! This 398ci FSB, boosted by a single promod 88mm Turbo put down over 1300hp, and still had room to grow! It won’t be too long before its in the 4’s!

  2. Definitely less and less common to find Ford Powered Fox Bodys, as mentioned in the description, nevermind now almost 4 years later. Sweet white New Edge too. Love the single turbo showing in the front

  8. Mid 5's and only 140's in the 1/8th is really slow for an 88 "pro mod" and for 1300 HP. A T4 mid-frame will run faster than that even in a 3200lb car. There are tons of fast SBF turbo cars. Waaay faster than mid 5's and 140's. When I ran a single PT7675 CEA with 3" downpipe to full exhaust to the axle it ran 5.30-5.40 at 140's with 3300 lbs.

  9. People who stuff ls in a fox or sn, don’t know shit about building a race engine. The 302 and especially the 351w is soooo looked over and most people really don’t know it’s true potential. Props for posting this video. Funny how ONE video can trump all the mustang ls swaps lolz

  17. Damn this should be what the so called okc and new Orleans street outlaws should be driving max. But with back half. More steel than composite and more glass than lexan and stock wheel base

  23. Seems like ford engines with 1300 hp don't run as good as a lsx with 900 hp. I got 2 buddy's with fox bodies one has a lsx and other has a sbf, both have glides and weigh the same and dyno almost identical power but the lsx always comes out ahead. Faster et and mph.

  25. The reason everyone runs Chevy power is because they just make more power and hold up better, plus they are way more common and more cost effective. You can't even compare a small block ford to a lsx.

  36. Don't know too much about drag racing. Why do they always let the brakes go for a split second just before the race starts?
