my wiseco pistons and manley rods have arrived. what piston to bore clearance did you use 2.5 – 3 thou. also i went 9:1 and have offset wrist pins ??

Toss the wire retainers for the wrist pins. C rings work or Teflon buttons work awesomely. I started using them on vw drag racing engines. And never had a problem.

Oh, I would hate to stop building because of some small sh.t part. Thats why i have lathe in my workshop. And bolts, nuts, screws, washers and special sorted out. Just some tips from fellow builder… 🙂
