  2. What, you dont have system which will read the car no and know if it is insured or not. We have that in UK. Also insurance companies make sure you renew by phone or mail. You don't do that. Shame!!!!

  6. Would it not be an idea for the parking authorities to erect warning signs bullet pointing the process that someone would have endure to retrieve their car because if it were impounded due to their illegal parking, together with an estimated time that process would take.

  7. She should get a fax sent over by Weight Watchers, like a rehab certificate or something? Why do over weight women wear tight cloths?? Buy a tent or something.?

  8. They hold your car for ransom!
    You need insurance to get a tag so what's the point of needing to prove insurance!
    Just more obstacles so they can keep your vehicle longer and charge you more storage!

    Oh really. I suppose it was the impound lot's fault that you were driving without valid insurance… And it's not them that controls your insurance company's business hours. If you don't like the fact that they aren't accessible, then complain to your insurance company, not the impound lot workers. You chose to drive without valid documents, now you live with the consequences. Don't blame other people because you were irresponsible.

    米国でのダワー教授のノーマン再評価を受けて日本でもノーマン理論が復権する。没後２０年を期して７７年に全集が刊行され、８７年には全集の増補が刊行される。さらに左派リベラル勢力が「一般国民もアジア侵略の加害者である」と戦争責任を問い始めた。その理論を支えた一人となった一橋大学の油井大三郎名誉教授は１９８９年にノーマンを再評価する『未完の占領革命ー米国知識人と捨てられた日本民主化構想』を上梓し、「武装解除されても、天皇制が残るならば、日本は他の世界にとって未解決な危険な問題であり続ける」とのノーマンの発言を引用して、アジアから信頼を得るには、日本人自身が天皇制解体や加害責任追及を完遂するべきだと唱えた。言い換えれば東京裁判をやり直し、日本の加害責任を徹底追及しなければ、「占領革命」が完了しない、と訴えかけた。こうしてノーマンが説いた「アジアへの加害者責任」の自虐史観は日本に浸透し、日本で謝罪外交の必要性が理論化された。日本国内で運動の中心的役割を果たすのが家永教科書検定訴訟支援運動だった。この結果、１９８０年代後半ごろから日本を始め世界各地に日本に謝罪と補償をさせる「反日」組織が誕生する。東南アジアなどの戦争の被害地を訪問して加害者としての日本の歴史を確認する「ピース・ボート」運動が８３年に辻元清美衆院議員が発起人となって始まる。８４年には家永教科書訴訟を支援する形で「南京事件調査研究会」が発足され、８４、８７年に中国を訪問し、中国側の主張に沿って『侵華日軍南京大屠殺資料専輯』を翻訳して出版するなど「南京大虐殺」キャンペーンを始めている。また86年には、中国、韓国などの反日活動家を訪日させ、日本の加害責任を追及する国際ネットワーク構築が始まった。韓国で親北系のハンギョレ新聞で「『挺身隊』怨念の足跡取材記」の慰安婦キャンペーンが始まるのは９０年１月だった。翌２月１７日、戸塚悦朗弁護士が国連人権委員会で「従軍慰安婦・強制連行」を取り上げている。在米中国人が日本の戦争責任を蒸し返して米国や国連を舞台に日本に謝罪と補償を求めて反日宣伝を行う「対日索賠中華同胞会」が出来るのは８７年だ。狙いを「南京大虐殺」に絞った「紀念南京大虐殺受難同胞連合会」を結成、翌９２年にはカリフォルニアで「抗日戦争史実維護会」が組織される。米国での中国系反日活動に連動して８８年に香港で「香港紀念抗日受難同胞聯會」が結成されたのを皮切りにカナダなど世界各地で同趣旨の組織が結成され、９４年１２月、３０を超える中国系反日組織を結集させる連合体として「世界抗日戦争史実維護聯合会」（抗日連合会）が結成される。中国政府と連携した中国系米人たちが「日本に戦争での残虐行為を謝罪させ、賠償させる」 ことを主目的に設立した「抗日連合会」が、「歴史戦」の主役として北米で日本の戦争責任を追及する苛烈な反日プロパガンダを２０年にわたって繰り返している。南京事件のほかに捕虜虐待、７３１部隊、慰安婦を挙げてきた。戦犯裁判や対日講和条約での日本の責任受け入れを一切、認めない点で明白な反日組織だ。昨年、カリフォルニア州グレンデール市やニュージャージー州で慰安婦像を設置したのは記憶に新しい。「南京大虐殺」を目撃したとするドイツ人のジョン・ラーベの日記を発掘し、ドイツを「南京大虐殺」キャンペーンに捲き込んだり、反日集会に参加したアイリス・チャンに『ザ・レイプ・オブ・南京』を執筆させたりしたのも「抗日連合会」だった。２１世紀になると、ノーマンの再評価が広がる。ライシャワーの駐日大使時代の特別補佐官で、ジョンズ・ホプキンス大学高等国際問題研究大学院の学院長を務めたジョージ・パッカード氏も２００１年に東京・六本木の国際文化会館で、「ライシャワーの日本近代史観は楽観主義が強すぎて軽視される一方、ダワーの『敗北を抱きしめて』やハーバート・ビックスの『昭和天皇』などの著作にみられるように、ライシャワーと対照的なノーマンの史観に評価が高まっている」とライシャワーを批判し、ノーマンを持ち上げた。こうしたノーマン再評価を背景に中国、韓国はじめ、米国やカナダ、香港でも「日本の加害者責任」と人権を結びつけ、日本を弱体化させる反日国際ネットワークが次々と構築され、反日プロパガンダは現在も世界で広がっている。中国が仕掛ける「歴史戦」の活断層はこのあたりにあるともいえる。

  22. Past impound worker and this is how it works. We weren’t open on weekends. I have State Farm and you can always get a copy of your insurance. Our impound has a bathroom. You would not believe how many people don’t carry current copy of their insurance. And how many people don’t have insurance at all or a valid license.
