This little Swedish Street BEAST is PACKED with power – 540ci and THREE kits of nitrous! The six time Stockholm Open winner – Norrlands Asconan made it to the states to race at Hot Rod Drag Week 2016 all the way from Sweden. Entering the unlimited class the driver Magnus and co-driver Dennis is on a hunt for a 7-second pass as they try to survive the long drives between tracks! With the only goal of getting through the week and make a pass on Friday the guys made a successful adventure pushing the car harder than ever during it’s first time on American roads! Fighting issues from fires, to fatigue, and everything in between they managed to have a blast, but now the question is what else do they plan to do with the car while they have it here…

  2. I am 99% sure I saw this car at Orlando Speed World on 9-16-18. I am not sure how dude missed the wall 3 times and still ran a 7 second pass. I was sitting in the water box with my car and had to slap myself to get started with my burnout. What a car/team/driver!

  5. What he is not saying is that he brought the car to do some real racing, we will see if that footage ends up here. The car is basically built to compend in Stockholm open, you cant drag the car not once even after 6 races in one night, its enduransce strett racer car, not 402 car

  15. props to these Swedes… not only the engineering behind their ascona but also their driving skills. this opel was piloted by 2 different drivers and CONSISTENTLY hit low 8's. awesome vid… i prefer driving at the track but when a spectator i prefer street races. this video is an exception.
