29. yeah veins that don't stay still or are behind fat or scar tissue are no joke , I normally just tell them to go for the hand or wrist to just make it easier. Last time I needed an IV they placed a PICC line so they wouldn't need to keep sticking me. IV treatment last a few months so they said it was better and safer with a PICC but short term stuff I say hand and wrist are the best and quickest if you have trouble.
