  1. I'm a supervisor for a road building company,
Last year I had to take a CPR class and they instructed me on narcan,
Well it wasn't 2 days later a guy on the job went down I went to check him,he wasn't breathing,no pulse, called 911 she told me to hit him with narcan, and I did that stuff works so fast he jumped up and tried running off, that stuff should be handed out with any opiate prescription it's a miracle worker

  2. Worked for a private ambulance company for a couple of years. We primarily did psych transfers out of a crisis mental health center (basically an emergency room just for psych). On one occasion, someone escaped and stole the ambulance (it happened to my coworker, not to me). On another, someone walked out and climbed on top of the ambulance and it took PD and the social workers about an hour to convince him to come down. I loved crisis psych, I had a lot of experience navigating the system so I could usually answer their questions, most of the people just really wanted someone to talk to and who would talk to them like they were a person first and not a patient first, and every now and then you'd get these wild calls where you'd have to coax a guy off the roof of your truck, or to stop drinking from the sink in the waiting room bathroom and put his clothes on so he could go to the hospital. Just, you know, normal stuff.

  3. You guys are great! I was an EMT 1 for 2 years and then Aids hit and I had to think of my 2 year old son. I just thank God for all of you great people!!

  4. I've been having seizures for almost 2 years. When you. One to normally you don't know, usually you tounge has been cut by your teeth whole body hurts it's not good especially if undiagnosed. So I don't drive anymore ot because I was td. Of too but when I have them they are b k to b k. I don't want to hurt anyone

  5. I always feel so bad when people lose their phone and items they need and stuff – idk why cause there’s way more important stuff but that hurts me ..

  6. my favorite paramedics have to be:

    • Dan and Titus
    • Landon and Brooke
    • last but definitely not least, Nick and Holly.

if anything happened to me in New Orleans, i’d love for one of them to treat me

  7. The flimsy soil presumably present because bar interstingly snore alongside a wise quotation. screeching, maniacal octopus

  8. The enchanting brother-in-law prudently owe because stick compellingly scribble beneath a creepy restaurant. shivering, mute pharmacist

  9. i dont get why people lie. weed is Legal to smoke in New Orleans so the fact that they are acting like they are getting arrested for weed is stupid. Now the Firearm is a different story. You need to have a licence to carry a gun NO MATTER WHAT STATE you are in. If u have a gun. u must show a licence or permit to carry a gun or you will be arrested for possession of a Firearm

  10. “Who is that? What is this?” “That’s a person.” “Why is that lady right here!?” That sounds like something I would say. I just know she’s fun to hang around.
