  13. People need a break from the mental programming, social conditioning and constant violence. Hollywood put a spell on us and is irrelevant now. The movies about viruses did the trick and the whole world is now in full blown panic. What we put in our minds, is what we get out of them.

  17. I thought that capitalism was capitalism. If you make a product people want they will need to pay. Secondly, anyone who wants the movie industry to survive can write a check and support them. How about "No. We are not going to tax are citizens into oblivion. Any of our citizens who want to write a check and support you can do that. Just start a "Go Fund Me" or something else. Plead for money on your websites. Whatever you want that's legal. Go ahead and try to convince the people to give you their money just the same as every farmer, manufacturer, painter, builder, restauranteur, landscaper, artist, etc., etc., etc. tries to convince the same populace to buy their products. Stand up[on your own feet if you can just like everyone else. ZERO stars for handouts at the people's expense!

  18. There are very wealthy business owners in Hollywood who own all the businesses it takes to produce a movie. They should provide the money to keep these theaters open and blue collar workers employed or compensation to that effect. Combined, these folks are super wealthy and can afford this.

  21. One of the only good things about COVID is Hollywood getting body spammed. Had they kept their mouths shut about politics they might get a little sympathy… but last survey showed America has lost all respect for Hollywood.

People have been brainwashed to believe that "it's saving lives," at the cost of millions becoming unemployed, the US economy collapsing, businesses closing down permanently, and after the Pandemic people who will be going back to work, their job might not even exist so they will have to find a different or related field to get into. All for a less than %1 fatality rate, I'm all for protecting others but we can't continue to live like this the Pandemic itself has done more damage to the economy itself and people's livelihood than the disease itself to people……

  35. I love actually going to a theater. The big screen is the best way to see a film. I do stream TV and films but the theater is my first choice for several movies.

    Clearly you don't like the experience of reactions from a crowd during a first viewing.

    Endgame on release night was insane I went back a 2nd and 3rd time just to see others lose their minds.

    Cant get that reaction watching at home.

    And to everyone talking like they closing permanently they arent. They are closing until next years attempt #3 at releasing movies. Long story short Tenet was supposed to bring people back to the theater but it basically bombed so Hollywood is just worried about releasing anything when people aren't going.

  39. Close them all. Popcorn is too expensive. Snowflakes fucking with their phones. Stinky feet propped on the backs of seats. Let them sit home and overdose.
