  1. Personally, for such cases I'd be fine with legislation allowing the court to charge felonious assault towards the court. If the defendant wanted to throw a backpack, then ok, just add about 5yrs. to any other potential sentencing.

  2. Okay so I didn't throw a backpack but I did have a judge try to postpone because I didn't have an attorney (I was denied a public defender and couldn't afford one) I just asked to have my right to defense waived, I knew it was an easy case and I did well 😉
