Love my 2014 SHO with 3.5 twins! Gearhead tune and bolt-ons = well over 400 WHP and almost 500 WTQ with modest tune/mods. Very fun to embarrass 2-door sports cars!
They only catch the SHO because their top end gears give them the edge in the long run.

For all the haters, 2495 + 400hp is good for a 10.50 quarter mile @ 127MPH. So for MOST of you who are saying "oh it's still a taurus," would have a much lighter wallet racing it from a dig at a drag strip anywhere in the country.

I had one! Smooth revving V6 with enough power to hang with Mustangs of the same vintage, and yet four doors and able to seat 5 adults comfortably.
I used to drive mine from LA to Phoenix twice a month. Plenty of power and a smooth ride.
The fly in the ointment was that shitty 5-speed. But that didn't stop me from getting 230K miles before selling it off to the next owner.
I still look on Craigslist from time to time to see if I can get another one cheap.

Not hating but its built and spraying only makes 400 hp and is decent from a roll because its gutted to only2400 lbs. Waste on time and money. Like most Fords.
