30. I sure hope this situation cools down! (I have lived in south Texas’s San Antonio for 10 long and yet, very …interesting years. I worked in handicapped student services for a junior college then, and, in journalism for local newspapers. Then, in several other places. ) But, I didn’t expect the southern border to ever become a target! We had open borders then. Nowadays, what a train wreck situation! We must have tighter restrictions… so that migrant kids… or their huge extended families, can just swamp our borders!! It’s gonna take good policies… and lots of talks with leaders in Central America. The new administration says they plan to open up talks with these leaders… soon for migrants’ protections. Hopefully, that’s an improvement, and not just more detention places! Think positively! We need something else!
