  19. I understand Pro-lifers who say every life is precious and I respect their view to protect that life in the womb. What I can't abide is their hypocrisy about that very same life. Life isn't 0-9 months…it's 0-18 years. You protect that life in the womb but than turn your back on that life immediately after it is born. You see a homeless woman with three kids and look the other way. You see a young woman in the grocery line trying to decide between food or diapers but don't offer to buy either. You opposed to higher taxes that pay for programs that provide food, healthcare for that child or education and job training for the mother. You oppose an adequate minimum wage so the parents don't have to work two jobs and can raise that child. You oppose adequate healthcare so that child stays healthy. You oppose affordable daycare so the parents can go to work. You oppose Paternity leave for Fathers who want to stay home and help with the newborn. You don't want to have higher taxes that provide for social workers who look after children left at Fire Stations, Police Stations or Emergency Rooms. AND you won't introduce legislation to protect women against sexual assault, child abuse, sex trafficking, decrease rape kit test delays or backlogs and You won't hold men accountable and introduce stricter punishment for Dead Beat Dads. WHEN YOU CAN DO ALL THOSE THINGS THAN YOU CAN TRULY CALL YOURSELF A PRO-LIFER. LIFE ISN'T 0-9 MOTNHS…IT'S 0-18 YRS.
