Officer says he 'looks like a robbery suspect because he has a wide set nose!' Wait, what!? Isn't it a fact that most African American men and women have wide set noses? Philando ADMITTED to the cop that he was licensed to carry and had his weapon. I'm sure the cop asked for his license and insurance. It seems to me that when Philando reached for his docs, the cop assumed he was reaching for his gun and immediately started firing his weapon with no regard for his girlfriend who was sitting beside him. It helps if you obey traffic laws and have a valid registration. You’ll still get pulled over for being black but you won’t get a citation for expired plates.

Sad truth
I am white but the man I am with is black. He is 6’4, goes on jogs most mornings and I am scared he will get shot. Watching this reminds me of the measures he has learned to take to deter others from treating him in certain ways. I fear for his safety everyday and this breaks my heart.
