We went down to Glenwood, Iowa to check out the No Prep race sponsored by The Shop, Inc. and witnessed back to back wrecks! The first car to hit the wall was a Monte Carlo that got sideways and Smacked the passenger side into the wall hard enough to break all the bead locks on the rear tire. You have to see the aftermath to believe it! The next car to go down the track was a Vega that did not have as light of a crash as the Monte Carlo and ended up putting the front end into the wall and sliding to a stop in the middle of the Drag Strip. Both drivers both walked away from their crashes, luckily!
