He once held the record at 234MPH, then KC Howeth broke that record at 238.6 MPH last year in Texas. This weekend, over 1 mile above sea level with a density altitude (what the air acts like based on weather) over 8,000ft (recorded at 9500ft on Saturday) – Gidi becomes the FIRST person to break the 240mph barrier in a standing half mile (0-240mph in the 1/2 mile)
The X Package equipped Lamborghini lays down over 2300hp, and was even having issues doing that, spinning in the lower gears to push through the monsterous record, running 240.64MPH at the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack in Colorado Springs, CO – Presented by Shift S3ctor & Revvolution.com!

Met this guy at his shop off of hwy 620 in Austin TX about 6-7yrs ago. Very focused guy. The first time I realized what kind of fanatic he is, I heard what sounded like a mechanical angel loudly proclaiming authority over all other domesticated 4 wheeled beings calling to anyone with ears to hear about 4 blocks away from the motorcycle shop I was working at. A good friend I worked with and myself practically ran to the exotic dealership (only place we thought the heavenly noise could be originating) and in their dyno bay they had a turbo-d 360 ferrrari only making 6-8lbs of boost, but my goodness what a sound. First time I heard an exotic car that was turbo-d in person. I couldn't imagine hearing one of these 2k + hp lambos in person. Just awe inspiring… the tone seriously almost brings a tear to your eyes when you hear such high revs working so perfectly and powerfully.
