  1. Neat Idea !! I worked at the library, in the children's book area. We tried making it a fun time there. We had a few small critters, the regular stuff: gerbils, hamsters, fish, Tarantula, etc.. I walked around with a Rat on my shoulder while putting up books. It was fun teaching kids about the books and animals ( and the Rat ). Bet you can't do that now days. 🙂

  2. Do you not have mobile libraries going around places where people have mobility problems like nursing homes hospitals, like a food van with a Hatch that people can request books it is documented on a computer , usually people browse coming on the minibus but of course not possible at the moment, you can convert an old school bus would be the perfect thing put a side hatch, rotate the books every couple of months have copies of most popular books. It's a good service usually volunteers run it
