  13. That Opel is viscous. What kind of transmission is it running, A Powerglide ?
    All the Audi and BMW junk is screaming at 9,000 rpm while the LS is loafing along at about 5000 . Thats how Ford won the 1967 le Mans 24 hours with their 427 NASCAR engine Mark 4's. They never turned them more than 5000 rpm and still won.

  30. Kudos on the v-8 swap, i almost bought a late 60's opel gt until i saw how much the steering would have to be changed for sbc swap
