  1. hello, I've got new curiosity on drag racing

but I have a question in my head

    Why not use 4×4 vehicles?

if the torque is transferred to 4 wheels

    Wouldn't it be good?

  2. When slowing down a turbo loses a shit ton of power. It will win on the highway but not on the street or on a racetrack. Granted, it is more efficient, but it should not be used for when you can wait on turbo lag.

  3. Lets end the debate in the coments: superchargers will win in the short run but turbos will win in the long run. Why? Because superchargers top out before turbo chargers so in the long run. It would lose. Turbochargers would lose in the short run because it takes a little bit of time to get to a boost. Superchargers have an instant powerboost. Turbochargers have to work up to a boost.

Pls no hate, because i made this to stop the fights

  4. Personally I think turbos are better for longer distances like a 1/2 mile drag but on the 1/4 or 1/8 mile super badgers win everytime if everything is equal obviously if a guy with a turbo has a 632 and a guy with a charger is running a 350 then yeah the turbo is going to win technically a turbo is a supercharged it just uses the exhaust fumes back through the engine to make boost and a turbo is t connected to the engine they blow engines easy though compared to chargers they do a lot more damage but they make more boost but they have lag that's why the turbo is better for longer distances unless you have time to spin it up before hand which they don't plus it takes some speed to get them to max boost

  5. Come down to canada 1320 july 1st-3rd to nitro nationals, biggest event here in canada and watch the pro mods/outlaw 10.5 cars here, make way more power then those cars.

  6. the low end torque of the supercharger gave it that initially lead. but when boost kicked in for the turbo charged one, it had a better too end and went faster

  7. Coming from someone with a procharger turbo is the way to go imo. Although they take a lot more fabrication, plumbing, and tuning it's well worth it.

  8. You guys need to learn what promods are cause none of them were promods. Just cause it's a tube chassis car does not mean it's a promod
