However, if you're not going to arrest or charge members of Antifa, BLM or any other the other people who've destroyed property and beat people down in the streets nearly killing then then don't arrest or charge this young man for 1) defending himself against a mob who would have surely killed him and 2) for exercising his second amendment right. You can't have your cake and eat it too. I think RBG would have agreed to "equal treatment under the law."

Fact here is the kid (and he IS a kid) is 17 and illegally had a gun (legal age is 18yo) so no matter if you think Kyle is justified in his actions or not, if it was self defense or not, he would NOT have had the gun in the first place and legally cannot plead self defense, think of it like driving a car and stopping at a red light, if you are at full stop but get rear ended by a drunk driver and it turns out you did not have insurance then you…are at fault because you were not meant to be driving on the road, even if the other guy was at fault by plowing into you it would still be your fault.

Each time he would kill somebody, the demonstrators would shoot their guns in the air trying to scare him away, but it didn't work.

24. The 2nd Amendment was NOT written as a means for people to rob other individuals of their first Amendment rights. That is exactly what happens when people brings guns to a protest. No act of violence or destruction of property by anyone in these situations is ok. All it does is reinforce and strengthen the negative feelings one group of people has against another. It is counter productive, will result in no change and will just lead to more violence.
    And there needs to be a balance of respecting authority and knowing your rights. Just because you have a right to do something doesn’t mean you should.
