    I'm an independent progressive and that's an inspiring quote to me. I think Trump owes a great deal to Senator Scott for securing more votes from POCs at large for him in 2020, despite his loss. All the wokeism and identity politics (even though I believe Trump played into them himself) didn't do a lot for Joe Biden, dreams of a Senate Majority for Dems, or Pelosi's House Majority. This is a man who says 'well, you know what? I'm a Republican and you don't get to tell me how to think and feel because of the color of skin.'
