Differential EXPLODES at Drag Strip!

This little Nissan decided to hit the drag strip, but what he didn’t know is how well the starting line was hooking on this particular night! As you can see, this isn’t a heavy truck, but when your tires grip THIS hard, your drivetrain is in for a beating! TX2K16 Drag Racing test and tune brought out all kinds of crazy race cars! The luck was not on this guy’s side…when the differential exploded, it also punctured a hole in his gas tank!

  1. The 9" is actually fairly weak until you put a better pinion bearing support, the pinion placement is low compared to most rear end setups and that is pushes away from the ring gear, i broke several until i got the all aluminum setup from Mosier with the bolt thru main caps, never broke it again👍

  2. If I was at the starting line i would have quickly grabbed the core that flew out, walked over and handed it to the driver like "here's your diff bud"

  3. So where does he go from there what’s stronger than a ford 9” 🤣 I wanna know how much he had in that truck to being with was it the power or the way he put the rear end together

  4. My diffrential exploded 1 day after i got my dream car. 🙁 now it just stands aside and rust away. Mine didnt explode as dramatic just said boom and i could hear metal shards everywhere. Sad part is i didnt even get to push the pedal to the metal 1 single time now its been standing for a year.
