240sx Update – The Motor is Out… More Power?

My 240 would sit in my garage broken forever if I didn’t get help. Alberto pulled my motor apart and we end up doing way more than just fixing it πŸ˜‰

After I figured out I’d need to pull the motor apart to find the lost shim, I got super bummed. I have so little time with school/riding/business/wedding planning that I knew it would take FOREVER to try to do it myself. Luckily Marco’s friend Alberto has a shop and builds FD-spec drift cars. I brought it to him so he could get it back up to par so I could focus on what’s most important right now and still be able to drive this summer! I’ve actually had a few nights where I was able to stop by so I could learn a few things and help Alberto out- super fun!

  2. FYI the bleeder valve on a caliper should always be on the top end. The whole purpose is to bleed out air in the caliper, which will be sitting at the top end of the passageways inside the caliper, not the bottom. if your caliper has a bleeder valve on the bottom side of the caliper, your caliper is on the wrong side of your car.
