Why do you call yourself world news when in your full program you spend 9 minutes talking about a tornado here in the US, make it your top story and then spend less than 2 and 1/2 minutes talking about the explosion in Beirut where thousands and thousands of people have been hurt and killed! I find this incredibly absurd and truly sad!! If Beirut was a more popular city it would have been the top story.

I do not understand why Americans in the Hurricane Alley don't just do undergrounding instead of having vulnerable above-ground powerlines.
In places like Germany, France, and the UK, over 60-80% of all power lines are underground and thereby have next to no power outages, especially during storms and hurricanes.
