  1. Only in america human being being labeled based on their skin colour. Black, white , red? But why red for native american? I dont see any red in their skin colour. And why are you american proud with this?

  2. I would like the native Americans to rename the NFL team it’s about celebrating native American culture like how Kansas have the Tomahawk Chop!

  3. Ok whites and blacks let move out of the country, go back to our native lands, let the be Indians have there country back, I was never involved, make the way you want, oh you need assistance ,

  4. Oh my God, they are and will always be the Washington Redskins! At least in the minds of normal people .It's not a slurr its it's not racist it's just a name and a logo and it's time for the "activists" to get over themselves!

  5. I'm glad that native Americans stood strong and made progress. Now how about going to your chapter houses and tribal leaders who have been holding back on funds living in there posh houses. While the natives are starving living in conditions that make third world countries look glarmarious. No running water houses falling down around the people roads that aren't fit for a horse to travel on so so sad. The federal government gives million's yearly where does the money go into they could put up 300 million to bid on remention fire arms how about putting that into the people? 600 million in total to buy remention give the people's there portion now is the time Tribal leadership.

  6. I wonder how people would react if there was some sports team with the name the “Whiteskins” or the “brownskins”, “yellowskins”, or “blackskins”. You’re referring to someone by the color of their skin. How is that not offensive? “Redskins” is such an outdated term

  7. Why would a professional journalist who knows the power of words use the very word that she was requested not to use? Her article is intended to show respect and social advancement but she showed her self to be small.

  8. It was said that not all Native Americans wanted the change. In 1933 they came up with the name to honor them. The coach and four players were Native Americans. They came up with the logo after talking to the Indian Reservation. The creator of the logo was the chairman of the Blackfeet tribe Walter Wetzel

  9. I remember we had to change our highschool name when I was a freshman in highschool back in 2001 due to this, we were the Penfield Chiefs and had a Indian chief face as our emblem but we ended becoming the Penfield Patriots with an eagle head emblem. I'm surprised that it took this long for the Washington Redskins.
