  5. Take a look at the founders of Microsoft, Google, Facebook. When they were starting their corporations, they looked like such great guys – so likable and so progressive, with brilliant ideas. Now, their corporations spy on people, gather all the information about people and use it in their own commercial interests and their quest to control others. Today, their corporations are gigantic self-serving monsters. There are no any major accomplishments in what Elon does. It all has been done by space agencies of different countries. The only difference is that SpaceX does not belong to any nation, does not belong to the People. SpaceX is a for-profit corporation, privately owned and reporting only to those who own it. And even if Elon allegedly dreams of all humans going to space, the owners of SpaceX can easily change and we don't know how Elon himself will change in the future, and the Nation has no influence on who will own the growing SpaceX monstrosity and who will be making decisions about choosing directions in which SpaceX will go.

    The only major accomplishment of SpaceX is to commercialize the outer space, to privately control it and to get greedy hands of the wealthy on whatever opportunities in the outer space can make them wealthier and more powerful. And to hide this from people's eyes, those who have power and money – again – give us the picture of a smiling guy, a hard-working visionary who wants ti take humankind to the "better future." But in reality, the commercialization of space led by SpaceX means the end of human dreams of space for everyone, for the better of mankind. Its a brutal race to make whatever is out there beyond the Earth become property of the wealthy and their corporations, to expand the hellish socioeconomical system of inequality and injustice – the wild wild west that we have on Earth – to anywhere else in space. You don't think so? Well, take a good look at Microsoft, Google and Facebook and ask yourself, do they serve you or those who own them?

    There is an international Open Space Treaty stating that space belong to all People of planet Earth and not to individual countries or businesses. The treaty was signed by all countries with space programs. A few years ago, at the annual SpaceCom conference in Houston, there was a panel discussion of commercialization of space. Participating in the discussion executives from SpaceX, Boeing and others were talking about how they will be commercializing space. A representative from NASA was among them as well. Someone from the audience ask the NASA representative, how NASA and the government are going to address the fact that those business plans of commercializing space and privatizing asteroids and planets violate the Outer Space Treaty – the official international Treaty Governing the Activities of Nations in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space. The NASA representative replied, "well, we will figure out something sometime in the future, for now we let them do whatever they want." Which basically means that politicians and NASA sent the Outer Space treaty to a trash can and someone intentionally holds NASA back to let for-profit corporations get their advantage in the outer space. And – how VERY conveniently – the Soviet Union that was enforcing the Outer Space Treaty does not exist anymore and today's Russia is ruled by the same kind of greedy riches who do not care about Space for All People.
