  1. im worried for my lil sis in 9th grade who may go through this crisis as she applies… as a recent college grad, the recession due to covid 19 is hitting gen Z HARD

  2. Why didnt this exist when I was a teenager? I could have avoided all the drama and bullies at school. Kids today are lucky.

  3. This is why I didn’t enroll after my last semester ended in May because as soon as I heard and saw they were raising the prices up just for online classes? I said NOPE see ya later! esp when im cash flowing it school. going to save all that money for now.

  4. It’s cause teens choose to go to expensive schools, if they really wanted to they can find something affordable for education.

  5. Not only should college already be free but how are you going to tell people it’s $50k a year for a teacher to tell you what to memorize through a laptop?😂

  6. I go to NYU and my sister goes to Georgetown. This sounds about right, honestly. I just sincerely doubt NYU is going to give anyone financial aid. I am even more eligible for it than my sister and NYU has given me nothing. They’re notorious for not giving financial aid, plus they almost never accept transfer credits so you have to pay extra to take their classes.

  7. Harvard is insane to keep the same crazy insane tuition cost! The whole point of going to a school like Harvard is to GO TO THE SCHOOL, going fully online is not the same experience. They can’t expect to charge $100k for ONLINE schooling! That is insane! You might as well just enroll in online Phoenix university! You will get the same exact learning experience (all online) at a drastically reduced price!

  8. I just said to a 28 year old who wanted to go back to school at UMASS. I told her students sould be asking "why do I need to pay for new dorms?" We all know most students will be online. Tuition should be dirt cheap for 2020/2021.

  9. Add CSULB to the petition. They charged $66 for an online , FREE, Zoom orientation. When I asked why? They said to pay for the online services, but last time that I checked….zoom was free. 🙄😡

  10. So secret, the evidence is nowhere to be found. If true, that takes a high level of intellectual prowess! I’ll take that as a welcome change. Thanks for the recommendation. 👏👏👏👏
