The issue in Ann and Scott’s marriage is not the fact Ann is a hoarder and compulsive shopper; the issue is Ann is an abusive and controlling jerk. The way she treated her husband was actually repulsive. It really bothers me to see hoarders treat their spouses so horribly… they are lucky they even have a spouse who stuck around
I would be happy to relieve them of the space that VW Think was taking up.
With DIFFICULT situations like MOST of these, People spazzing, By telling them to go through what they want to keep defeats the purpose, they don't want to toss anything away, I say put them in a hotel or even better a weekend spa where they can be pampered, new hair do, make up, wardrobe while they toss everything, clean it, fix it up and have them come home to a whole different nice place and with therapy, teach them how to no longer hoard, teach them how to THROW AWAY and keep a clean home. Either way, by having them tell them what to keep, what not to keep or sending them away for a weekend, they will be traumatized either way. But coming home to a complete surprise is the better solution.

I turned my 80 year old neighbor in to the city and no one on the block spoke to me again….they said I was a snitch on an old woman.

I find the "Dorothy the Organizer" interludes jarring and distracting. You know they coached her to PERK IT UP because she doesn't act like that on the show. I would love the tips delivered in a normal fashion but as it is, I FF asap when I see her just to stop the saccharine assault.
