1. I don't like Cuomo, but so far the ladies have only made accusations. Accusations are not proof. When "victims" try their cases in the court of public opinion rather than a court of law, it generally means they have no proof, but hope to pressure the accused to make a cash settlement short of trial — in effect, using the sexual harassment laws to exact legal blackmail. The governor is demanding proof of wrong-doing, and he's right to do so. Otherwise, due process has no meaning. Even obnoxious, lecherous old men are entitled to the law's presumption of innocence.
