If we all can agree on police reform can we agree on offender reform? Can we publicly teach young black men to stop resisting arrest and assaulting police. Reform is a two way street. It’s not just about police behavior it’s also the criminals. Maybe some prominent blacks will have the courage to criticize their fellow countrymen on proper behavior when dealing with the police. Question is who has the courage to do that.

George Floyd was no saint. His arrest could have been better handled better handled but it is amazing he was not still in jail for previous crimes.
Surely there are many innocent people killed by police through no fault of their own! Take the innocent Mr. Botham Jean who was shot dead by Dallas police officer Amber Guyger in his own apartment!
Name the pending Police Reform Bill after some one like Mr. Jean who ultimately did not die from complications of questionable life style. Name it after someone innocent, who did nothing wrong!!
Taking away 'Qualified Immunity' guarantees public safety from habitual offenders!
