“Hellcat Killer” CTS-V Street Races!

A healthy shot of nitrous and a blower is a good combination – which is exactly what this pair “650+hp” CTS-V’s are wielding. Their competition lining up next to them is a nitrous C6 Z06 Corvette, a bolt-ons Hellcat, and a NASTY sounding GTO! These crazy LSx monsters battle it out on the streets of Mexico to see who will come out on top!

  1. WOW how stupid are these guys all the mods on the engine, but forget the Diff ratios and gearbox ratios, i bet my life you can have a 450 HP at the rear wheels but do the diff and gearbox ratios right and they will beat all of them at 60KM then go, so simple, yet spend 10's of thousands of dollars on the HP, but neglect the gear and diff ratios, lol:) still very very nice cars, maybe they need to come down under to race some of how street cars. 🙂

  2. IDK, is it me or does everyones WHP / HP seem a bit way too f***** off? Im guessing thats why theirs numbers have " " " " on them. SMFH, I thought that dumb ass shit only happened with Hondas Boys out here in SoFlo when they have something wroth while because if they're honest they'll get their car / setup / swap stolen.

  3. 750hp (claimed) on this Hellcat, "high 6's" on the CTSV, sounds like a landslide victory on the Hellcat's part. However, with no specific info on the CTSV (year and whatnot), lets assume the 2004 AND 2007 (v1 vs v2) weigh 3,850 (according to a Google search), 750 flywheel in both cars, chances are the Caddy will take the win. I'm not mathmagician, but the fact that the Hellcat weighs 4,500lb… 650lb is a HUGE difference. Surely there is math to be done, assuming both cars have the same grip and gearing (math experts, please help plug these numbers in…) Two cars with the same power (crank or wheel) but one weighs 650lbs less from the factory, which would theoretically win? AND, that's assuming the same gearing, I REALLY don't know that because it's 4:13am here and I'm drunk af on Jack Rye, so a confirmation on previously mentioned numbers, and any other elaborations is quite welcomed.

  4. When are the mopar guys gonna realize that it's not the weight of the cars, and they're not going fast enough for aero to matter? It's all in the gearing

  5. People give hellcat owners so much shiut. It's not their fault their factory freak starts out where most crazy builds end. And it's not like it's the end of tuning your hellcat it's the beginning they are very capable cars as many others are. I agree no one should be out here with their nuts out the window because they have 700h from factory but it is what it is. They are one of those cars to beat which means they are good and not to many factory cars measure up.

  6. Apparently all these people in the comments below bitching about the weight of the Hellcat don't realize it's a primary part of the design. If they followed the critics, they'd end up with another Mustang driving all over curbs, trees, and people…and all those special tricks those cars do when people step on the gas leaving car shows. 🙂

  7. "Hellcat Killer" CTS-V street races!
    corvette Champion 🏆

Would be a better title considering the cts-v beat 1 hellcat, while the corvette beat two cts-v
