21. I know this is petty but can someone explain to me how her name is pronounced Geee – Len or Ja Lin? I just don’t understand how Ghis is pronounced Gee. Or Alain is pronounced aLen…. or why is it spelled differently than how it should be pronounced? I can understand if the Ghis were pronounced Giz as in Gizzard or Jez as in jezabel but it looks like it would be pronounced to everyone in the USA as Jizz and we would pronounce Laine as Lane (with less letters because the last ‘ e ‘makes it a long A vowel) and we would say Jezlane or Jizzlane. Yep…. Jizz Lane. Fitting in hindsight, no? Help me out here someone.
