Doug Cline was having trouble with his 3000hp twin turbo Camaro on the last day of Rocky Mountain Race Week, and to his surprise, after pushing through some fuel build up off the line his car did 190mph after breaking up through the starting line! Unfortunately, Doug chose not to pull the chutes and it costed him potentially two turbochargers after filling them with gravel & sand! Driving 1300+ miles and thrashing on this big block chevy twin turbo’d beast of a Camaro probably didn’t help in split second decisions down the drag strip. Damn it, gravel in there again?! If only there were some way to keep rocks and crap out of a turbo… maybe some ingenious individual will one day devise a method for separating foreign material from the air. We can only hope, or this will continue to be a daily nightmare until everyone runs on AA or 18650. God, I've had to scrape the mud out of the bug catchers on the Tracker THREE TIMES this week alone!
