The United States needs a Universal Basic Income from now on..Until Jobs pay their employees a living wage. Everyone has been tested for the Corona Virus and vaccination is available for everyone..It will save people lives and from going homeless and landlords from losing their livelihoods as well.. If Canada can give their people a 2 thousand dollar a month income than We could too..Or does this country want us to fall?

The banks want to have it both ways. When people lose their financial mean due to the pandemic the banks still want their cut regardless, pay the mortgate or else. It's capitalism they say.
But when the banks financial means/earnings crash, and then we all have to share in the pain as they "required" a massive infuse of taxpayers funds (government bailout), do they still say it's capitalism, or do they say it's Socialism?
It seems that banks and other financial institutions want to burn the candle on both ends. And our government needs do something about it. Just like landlords and other property owners either because of tenant unemployment due to the pandemic don't have the financial means to pay rent and thus can't be, nor should they be evicted, the property owners of rental units should neither be forced to pay mortgage while the serious economic harm caused by the pandemic continues.
We all need to share the pain.
***Ps.- Maybe electing wiser and honest Governors, and also a wiser and honest President, will go a long way to solving the problem.
