  1. I don't get it. We all know how much food Americans throw away each year. Good food, that rots away due to non-consumption. Why does that happen in the first place? Those unused for should be packed up and delivered to charity. But we all know if costs a lot of money just pack them up and move them to charity. So I'm asking here what are these "young children companies" doing differently? They made a company right? They got workers right? They got trucks and need to pay for the gas. So who's paying the bills?

  2. Of all news stories during the quarantine, food security has been foremost on my mind.

    This anecdote of college-aged volunteers providing linkage between farms and food banks is a step in the right direction!
