  1. Nice Lotus but this poor Lotus is not in its habitat. It belongs on the road course not going straight line. If you want to go straight line, get a American muscle car. Such a waste of car to go straight line with it as it has way more potential than just going straight.

  2. "Look up the worlds fastest Lotus. It is a twin combination with a Supercharger and a Turbo and has 700 HP at the crank and about 600 HP at the wheels. There is nothing that beats it. The guy has an Evo Evolution with 900 HP and he says his Lotus is much faster. Nothing beats it. Even wiz bang motorcycles don't even beat him. Check it out you will be amazed. When you watch this orange Lotus did you see the exhaust?" I was moving so much it broke the metal thing around where the exhaust comes out. As he goes down the track the exhaust moves a lot. the thing he made comes off.

  3. I think 1% understand my point, but there is a certain feeling to driving a naturally aspirated sport car. Idk just came to my mind to say this.

  4. Impressive little car.
IBut the huge heavy duty diesel powered pickup trucks that have been putting down sub 10 second 1/4 mile times for over a decade now are even more impressive to me. Because big and heavy are rarely associated with quick.

  5. No entiendo para le ponen un motor K20, si el que tiene de fábrica es mucho mejor. 😕 Que ganas de arruinar un gran auto y de gastar plata innecesariamente. 😒😠

  6. Interesting build, I thought about a K20 in my Lotus because of the weak 2ZZ rockers … but I'm a road racer on closed circuits with Lotus CUP USA. Sadly the 2ZZ doesn't last long even with lower RPMs and a Turbo … I got about 10 hrs out of a 400HP Turbo 2ZZ circuit racing with a well built race motor (internals etc.) I can attest to the Quaife sequential, it's a VERY good transmission for the relative price of other sequential options. I didn't 1/4 mi my Lotus much (3 runs to be exact) but was able to hit 9.7 to 9.9 sec at about 150 MPH trap … 400HP @ 1750 lbs. My observations of this K20 is that it needs better motor mounts, the Quaife cable might be binding up a little (shifts seem awkward), that much smoke should be a concern – excessive blowby, at 750 HP those rear tires are just too narrow, looks like the car is being rolled out slowly from light as to avoid destroying half shafts or something else, the intercooler (I'm assuming water/air heat exchanger) is too small for that much HP and you 'll hit very high air intake temps very quickly causing detonation or component failures.

  7. No disrepect, but his tires are too small. I seen Civic hatch run 9.98 with 300hp all motor, and under 2000lbs maybe. They had 15 inch wide tires or about 32 inches of tire patch. And you are spinning tires. Widebody it.
