  1. Can anyone see the Lost Dutchman Mine
    through all that Smoke?
    I can't see a thing!
We are still looking for all those
    old Spanish Markers,
The red hand, ( thought to be a hoax )
The Triangle thing, some ladder to bat guano, and another clue.
Make no mistake many go into
    the Superstition Mountains,
    that never come back out.
    Looking for Spanish Gold!

  2. I hope the investigative journalists ar ABC Tucson are covering this story because the Tucson police are out of control. They want Zero accountability for their actions and they’re willing to violate citizens civil rights to assure their misdeeds go undocumented.

  3. People are very ignorant about nature and wildfires. It's very natrual and needed, a cycle that has been happening forever.

  4. Everyday there's something new. When the sun rises and the smoke blankets the city, we check to see how many acres the fire has consumed. After that, we check if someone we know needs help evacuating or if some of us need to. Once the sun goes down, we look towards the mountains and marvel at the streak of fire that lines the majestic rock.

  5. @ABC Why aren't you showing any news on the 104 shootings in Chicago this past weekend? There were more than a dozen fatalities, two of which were a 3 year old and a teenager. Black Lives Matter, right?

  6. It’s honestly crazy here. They converted two commercial airplanes into fire jets and they’ve just been weaving in and out of the mountains, dumping tons of that fire powder stuff. The air is thick with smoke and ash and the embers look like a million Christmas lights. People are evacuating their homes and large wildlife have also evacuated and’ve been running around town

  7. Must have been terrifying in the 1800's to have dealt with wildfires. Even today with all the helicopters, planes, resources, etc, wildfires are still a beast to contend with.
