  1. As I sit here reading all the racist comments you people are the problem . Just admit that all of you who have written these negative comments about June teeth are typical racist. You people do not what to look at yourselves as the people you really are. Trump did not make Juneteenth a day whites are now aware of. Give him all the praise that is not deserved. What is racism it is all you.

  2. Awww… you left out the most important fact: In 2018 the Republican Senate passed a resolution recognizing June 19th as a
"Juneteenth Independence Day".   And Pelosi's do-nothing congress hasn't acted on it… nor is the left wingnut media grilling her on it as to why not!
Maybe ABC should be reading CNN articles.

  3. There's such systemic racism in America that you have 5 AA freely expressing their history on national TV and all getting paid up the wahzoo. But it's so much worse than ever before that the whole country is on edge talking about BLM in order to correct this injustice. Whatever!

  4. So now we get to have another holiday.True it is history and something that needs to be recognized, but what about everything that lead up to it.These protestors and BLM people want to eliminate actual history and shape it into what they want people to believe. It is only one side of the story however. They want you to know about all the pain and suffering, all the racism and prejudice and all the bad things about what happened in the past. They however do not want us to remember the lives that were lost in the Civil War to fight against slavery(most of whom were white soldiers). They do not want you to know about many of the changes over the years that have occurred that were positive. When people only look at the negatives of what occurred ad then cry racism and prejudice then thats all children will see and those children will grow up in a home full of anger and hate. All of american history needs to be taught so that all children know what the history of the U.S. really was be it bad or good.
It is however disgusting to see these people bent on changes removing these monuments.Select monuments. If you are going to tear them down then tear them all down.It is surprising that they have not gone into DC and defaced and torn down those monuments that they claim are offensive,It is important that the children coming up see and are taught American history in its entirety !!!

  5. NO SIR 1:19. lol 5 of you? what is the quota? 1 per century in the Americas. ✔️1600s ✔️1700s ✔️1800s ✔️1900s ✔️2000s …..=🎪….
why would they be proud: migrants 100…150… years later come to USA and claim "all american" more than you
𝒯𝒽𝑒 "𝒜𝓂𝑒𝓇𝒾𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝒹𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂" 𝒾𝓈 𝑜𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒷𝒶𝒸𝓀𝓈 𝑜𝒻 𝒶 𝐵𝓁𝒶𝒸𝓀 𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓂𝒶𝓇𝑒. . Proud of what?
Juneteeth is about stop working for others and here you are.
THE BLACKEST LAST NAMES IN AMERICA IS Washington, Jeffersons, Jenkins, Johnson, Jackson = all those foundational families & names on money. Now look at the last names that call 911 on you .. saying blacks dont belong?
if you look at Trump's family outside his refugee wives. He echoes what i said above. Mom migrate here, Grandfather immigrant. African American sat on the continent 3 centuries before his family arrived in America…………. the entire broadcast goes against Juneteeth spirit. "Independence"

  6. A "holiday" but yet they're burning our cities down bcuz they want to erase our history???!!!
    PICK A DAMN SIDE!🤬
    🇺🇸🗽 TRUMP 2020!🇺🇸🗽

  7. NO ONE CARES!!!!!! NO ONE HAS CARED SINCE 1865 AND NO ONE CARES NOW! !!!! IT ONLY CAME TO LIGHT BECAUSE OF PRESIDENT TRUMP MENTIONING IT…NO ONE EVER HEARD OF IT BEFORE AND NEXT YEAR IT WILL BE NOTHING AGAIN!!!!!!!

  8. Finally a place I can write this: why have I never heard of this remeberence day before? Definitely heard of why its celebrated , but the word, Juneteenth, I've never heard of

  9. im 40 years old.
there is 1 month every year for this to be talked about.. and yet this is when 99 % of us hear about this ?
but hey maybe there will be fire works, cook outs and beer and a time to reflect so im down. oh wait im white so i probably wont be invited/allowed during these currant times but hey why not make it a holiday ? seems like a big deal. shame im just now hearing about it.

  10. Hey guys, just some quick information here, if the South was so racist and ugly towards African Americans……then why was TEXAS, of all the states, TEXAS!!! was one of the first to recognize the emancipation as a holiday in the 80's, but the MAJORITY of the south celebrated the emancipation of slaves ALL THE WAY TO 1865. Now why all of a sudden, New York recognizes it 200 years later, but they are the ones being worshipped. GUYS LEARN SOME HISTORY FOR FUCKS SAKE, MY GOD, LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHERS IF THEY AREN'T LIBERALS.

  11. I have never understood why people needed to have slaves. These people were taken from their native mother land and sold, raped, tortured and slaved. It didn't just happen in USA, It happened in Colombia and other countries around the world. Glad that SLAVERY ENDED NOW LET'S END RACISM ✊✌. Blessings from a Chilean Latina woman in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada 🇨🇱🇨🇦🥰😘💜💙😷. Stay safe everyone against Coronavirus 🤧😷

  12. I'm in my 30s and had never even heard of Juneteenth until the Trump debacle. …the other Trump debacle. No no, the OTHER Trump debacle. Ugh, you know what I mean.

This has been celebrated for how many years and I'm only just barely finding out about this? 155? One-HUNDRED and Fifty-five. What an absolute shame.

  13. Are people not aware Juneteenth is actually the timeframe of when slaves in Texas had a delayed release do to incompetence & unwilling plantation owners.
    PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS❗️

  14. What about the native Americans!!!! Have you guys forgotten how badly they and their family were treated?! & everyone else other than black prople..they are doing this sh*t on purpose. Jesus, man. All of you are SHEEP. Go and line up behind the other sheep and wait on the Shepard to tell you what to do and what to think and where to go. Keep remembering hate and this will get bad. Its what they want. To keep us divided. Divided we FALL!!! WAKE THE F*CK UP PEOPLE!!!!!!

  15. 1. That lady in the black dress looked like tan white person (maybe it was the lighting). 2. “Juneteenth” sounds like a racist way to make fun of June nineteenth (which is an important date). 3. These are well payed reporters who all have a pretty light skin complexion compared to most black ppl. 4. Black ppl have an unbelievable amount more of freedom then anyone back then did. AND 5. It’s really JUST local government that is the main problem, not black ppl not the cops, the ppl able to ACTUALLY make lasting change because they’re behind the scenes.
