NBC News has learned the Biden administration is taking steps to end the detention of migrant families: those families detained by ICE while they wait for a court to decide whether they will be deported or granted asylum. A major milestone: ICE released the five families who had been in detention the longest. But they still have a long road ahead. NBC News’ Julia Ainsley reports.
