"I would rather die standing than live on my knees" Not too many people like Kaepernick was aware of several facts before taking his knee during the national anthem.
Kaepernick states he is going to continue to stand with the people that continue to be oppressed" immediately cuts to a protest of people yelling blm. Fact of the matter is almost twice as many whites are killed in this country every year by police than any other color. So shouldnt it be a protest for American Citizens? All Great Britain asked of Fort Henry was to lower the US flag and they would cease fire. All through the night the flag took direct hits but in the morning the flag still flew high.
How this was made possible was by the men who took turns holding the flag and pole physically up until they were killed by artillery from Great Britains War ships where their bodies were removed and a new group of men held the pole and flag up. If it weren't for these men who literally gave their life specifically for our flag and what it stood for, Kaepernick would be playing soccer. There would be no USA, there would be no NFL.
So take a knee on 1st and 10 or 4th and goal. Or how about actually joining the protestors on the street? All he did was disrespect our forefathers because only blacks were being disrespected but he wouldnt give his life for it now would he? He gave up millions to make more millions.
