  1. As a black guy , I will stop watching this nascar .can live without it
Leave this flag alone and just accept that it is part of the American history
    stupidity at its best.

  2. "Dude, you lost the war, give it up, you loser." Funny how I never hear anyone say that to, oh, the Cherokee, the African tribes sold into slavery by other tribes who beat them in battle, or the side that lost the Mexican-American War.

  3. Whether you like it or not, these men and women in the Confederacy were all Americans at one time or another. That's why we call it the "Civil War," because it was a war against ourselves. There is nothing civil about war that's for damn sure, but it was and still is an integral part of our history that shall never be forgotten, for fear of it being repeated. If we keep telling ourselves that America is inherently racist and there is little to nothing we can do to stop it, as the MSM and some politicians suggest, we will never again be united. Not united in our love for democracy, not united in our love for freedom, not united in our condemnation of hatred and violence, and certainly not united in our contempt for racism. We will never be the United States of America.

  4. I was raise in the 101st in camp Campbell KY… My ARMY career as an BLACK Americans … I DIDN'T FIGHT FREEDOM FOR NO CONFEDERACY OR IN THE NAMES OF THOSE BASES, I FOUGHT FOR MY FELLOW AMERICAN PEOPLE OF ALL COLOR'S … IT'S TIME TO LET IT GO WHITEFOLKS AND REACH, TEACH AND ECHO TO WHOM WANTS TO LISTEN…#BLM #IMBLACKMAN

  5. America in drinking. America loosing History cause one of the Black man. America will Big regret for loosing History. America how make today? WAKE UP!

  6. If we take down statues and rename places, then we are rewriting history and wouldn't be able to learn from them. The statues show people the atrocity we had to go through to gain our independence and rights from tyranny. They are there to remind us never to do that behavior again. The young people are not being taught the true history of our country and the statues give info for us to remember what really happened. It saddens me to think we are losing our real history. Think about this: why were the statues erected and places named in the first place? It was to honour and show how strong our country is against the people we fought against for our rights and freedoms.
The Civil War statues are to let people know that we will not forget the people that fought for the Union to bring our country back together. They also show us behavior we should not repeat again. Statues allow people to read the plaques and think about the actions of the historical people and places and not make the same mistakes.

  7. The speech that secretary gave was a speech if we wanted to destroy the forts. Is trump and his team hearing destroy the military? Yes in his mind. But no to destroying the forts. A name change is simple and can take an hour to do. Why dose he never think first?

  8. So kneeling to protest is “disrespecting the flag”, but confederate flags and confederate named military bases are fine? Weird world.

  9. If Lee were alive and saw all the division his statue was causing, even HE would concede for it to be removed from the public square

  10. Just name them ISIS and Al Queda, since we're being ironic and cute about worshiping US traitors and watching the country crumble.

  11. How’s it painful now. It’s history it happened. Ppl over came it. Yal keep bringing it up over and over

  12. I'm sorry but how do Confederate names evoke a "history of Winning, Victory and Freedom"? The Confederates lost a war trying to stop black people from having freedom.

  13. I am considered a northern Yankee, so the confederate army or its hero's do not really mean anything to me. However, our civil war had brother against brother, families were divided on which side to fight for. Many lives were lost. Black people fought on the union and also on the confederate side. These people should not be forgotten.
