  1. After the last protest poster has been stored away, after the last resounding cheer of victory for the conviction of a hate criminal has ascended into the air, after the last hurling rock has crashed through the last store window, then the real work can begin. When all of us have seen too much hate with its angry screamed words and clenched fists, maybe we can find a better path to the change we long for. Our hoarse voices and tired fists will subtly convince us there must be a sweeter, kinder way to obtain what we want. There is. Love. And that which is inherent in Love – Forgiveness. When I first saw "the video", the one that pressed the breath out of all of us, I felt so much hatred toward Derek Chauvin, it seemed close to exploding. Then, I realized I didn't want to feel this way, knowing how destructive hate can be. So, I decided to forgive him. I said "I forgive you, Derek Chauvin!" I knew I was not excusing him, I was forgiving him. A 2-ton burden of negative energy was lifted from me. I think it might have even enhanced my physical health. This felt so much better than hate!

Maybe it can begin this simply. Forgiving a Derek Chauvin whom we believe to be undeserving. It can begin with not drinking the poison of unforgiveness, expecting the other person to die.

A prominent sociologist studied and wrote about the characteristics of societies he encountered throughout his life. The last lines of the last page of his last book, contain these words – Love is the only thing that will save us.

    It is.

  2. Wow. Stop the violence, vote for ALL offices and not just the President, educate yourself. Yeah I can get behind all that regardless of what side of the isle you're on.

  3. Floyds stated he OD/ they dont care they want HATE for all other races claiming all other RACES the white officer MURDERED Floyd /they set it to make the BLM past the HATE they have to the NEXT GENERATION /they did it in DALLAS/ Atlantis Jefferson volunteered for this CAUSE and to get MERRITT money went into a open house with a loaded gun w/conspiracy plans to Murder a WHITE FORT WORTH OFFICER ARRON and have the 8 year old watch the murder see her murder the officer/ WHEN CPS was called they traced the kid to belonging to SHAUN KING /who afterwards ran NEW YORK / so sit and say FLOYD was murdered by officers /Floyd OD and stated he OD/

  4. So much respect for George Floyd's brother calling on the community and the world to realize that in his very own darkest moments he is not resorting to violence or looting, and instead calling on them to realize that that is not going to bring about the change needed to gain justice for George Floyd and for many others. He is calling on the country to unite together in order to bring about justice and equality for everyone.
I really hope we can all realize that those looting and violently vandalizing the community are doing NOTHING but Taking Away from George Floyd's memorial & justice!!! God Bless this family.

  8. Nah the protest are mostly peaceful how ever there are those ravengers who slip behind protesters to shield them self while they rampage violence so 1st is to change the way we protest like not gather but use online some how

  9. Honestly i think the situation has gone from bad to worse to worst. The bad part was the injustice that happened to George Floyd, may he rest in piece, The worse part is how it divided the country with a church and a police station getting burned down and the worst part is that people are now getting run over, shot at, killed. I saw a IG post from 50 cent showing a police officer getting beaten on the ground alone while two dudes were throwing what i can only assume is a heavy object on him and i pray for those police officers who feel that they are forced to stand up against the protesters because their authority says they have to. And not only that but people or looting stores and using the protests as a cover up. Imagine being a young man/woman who works at a mall and all of a sudden people storm that mall, stealing things of the shelves and all you can do is look in horror while your store is getting swarmed because apparently that is what has to be done for people to be heard.
A long comment but this is my opinion about this whole situation. Probaly a worthless opinion but im from DK and i see all of these stories and i feel so bad not only for George and his family but also for other innocent people getting affected by the extreme situation. My english is bad so i might have mispelled something or rephrased it so a sentence has a complete opposite meaning than what i intended it to have.
    R.I.P George Floyd

  14. *From A White Man that Lives in New York: The Solution to the Problem was Simple! Our Country could have saved not just the Financial Destruction as a Direct Cause of the Riots but more importantly much of the ANGER and Grief caused by the Lack of ACTION by High Ranking Officials in the Community. Just 1 Clear thinking Official could have solved it Quickly. JUSTICE: Bring Swift charges to the 3 Parties Invloved as Asseccories to the MURDER and we can move to a Peaceful Resolution.

  15. *From a White Man that Lives in New York: TRUMP your Fired you FOOL. He Doesn't Fuck'n get it! Dispatching Military? How about sending those Vicious Attack Dogs on the People. Ain't working in America Fool. I Trul'y Believe this Man Needs to Step down now or be Impeached Yesterday. This is sickening! America will not Tolerate more of this.

  16. * From a White Man that Lives in New york: Simple SOLUTION: Just 1 Clear thinking Ranking Official could have solved it Quickly. JUSTICE: Bring Swift charges to the 3 Parties Involved as Asseccories to the Crime and Walla we can move to a Peaceful Resolution.

  17. *From A White Man that Lives in New York: Message: All Terence wants is Peace but he also wants complete Justice. We the People must get complete Resolution meaning the 3 Remaining Peace officers must be Charged as Accessories to the MURDER by not offering any Assistance while Lloyd was suffocating.
