1. It's a tough situation to be placed in. Being a military veteran AND a 25 year law man in chgo, watching this video and the results, are saddening, sickening and repulsive. However, just like any professions, there are the nuisances. Why would a 20 year vet, work a mid day shift for one… and he's NOT a supervisor. Just my thoughts. There are quite a few other things that are just below the surface, that sends off red flashing lights to veteran law ppl, that the lay person or media, would not begin to understand.
   But knowing me and what I had to lose, dealing with an officer like this… regardless of race… he'd be the one in a choke hold, BY ME and we would then fight it out internally, administratively, privately, publicly… however we would war it out, but he wouldn't pull this crap on my watch! That's why he don't have 20 year vets working alongside rookies on the gladiator shift (3-11). Chavin had to be a true fckup to be sentenced to do patrol, at that time of day. Looking at his record, we KNOW that he was just that…a screw up!

Some of my family members were police officers and about twenty or so years ago i told them "the police provoke us, the police have a quota, the police try and hurt us when they arrest us, they twist our arms up unnecessarily etc.". Black police need to wake up because the white police are not your friend or brother and they are not friends or brothers Black people and the Black community. For those that are good white police, you need to put your partner in check!! If i were a police officer, i would be bustin heads in the locker room and at roll call.

11. You got bad cops out there. And it look bad for the good ones and you good good do have good cops out there. But the band was making it look bad for the good ones and it's not fair for them cuz they got family too and not sound right with this officer doing. They should be off duty with the bass and gone out. Unfired or lease go to another job, but not this type of job. That's my opinion.
