1600hp TT Viper DOMINATES Texas Invitational [ROLL RACE]

nTH Moto brought their A-GAME to Texas Invitational this year, it may not have had the most horsepower out of the cars there but BOY was it consistent. During 10 full passes, the car was within 4-5 mph every single pass, making it one of the most difficult cars to take down in the new RWD class.

One of the cooler features of this car, other than the meticulous, OCD quality of the build, is the sequential shiter setup they ran during the event. Get a sneak peak into the operations of this fairly rare (to street cars) transmission setup.

One of the best races of the three-day race weekend is featured in this video when they run up against a 1300hp twin-turbo & supercharged compound setup Cobra that gives them quite the run for their money!

Congrats guys!

  1. Wow fast Viper!  Surprising how the GT500 Mustang was right there at the end, being down 300 hp,.  I just discovered an interesting thing about Dodge's approach to aerodynamic design of their performance cars,  the fastest Viper (maxed out twin turbo) at the Texas mile was 241mph and the fastest Challenger (maxed out twin turbo) is 211mph.  Comparing those top speeds against the Mustangs, Oct. 2016 Bill Wagner (MK2 Motorsports) ran his twin turbo GT500 to 248 mph. and the MK2 Ford GT just ran 294mph at Texas.  ..seems Dodge could use some help with their aerodynamics.

  2. Was the silver vi[er's clutch slipping? also why would you run that huge ass wing on a high speed race like this? I bet that thing is slowing the car down too.

  3. as i always say, if you want a fast car start with one,, like in this video, if every car in this video was bone stock the viper would still have won by just as much. dont get me wrong i like the supra but im not impressed with its price vs speed, for much less you can get a gt mustang that does just as much. but yeah start with a fast car guys

  4. I don't understand why someone would spend all that money to build that viper, and then pay someone else to drive it!!!!
