  1. I don't know 1 person that owns a Google phone. They should call it quits. They merged with HTC and that was such a waste. A good brand down the drain.

  2. They are using Samsung's technology so why would I want a rebranded Fold Z?

Until the hardware develops every Fold will basically be the same.

The first manufacturer that can make a Foldable look like the Microsoft Duo wins the Foldable game.

  3. I was worried about Google making a foldable phone because they don't have the best hardware rep, but since Samsung is making the hardware part of it, I'll buy it

  4. I hate curved edged phones. So much glare. I like the concept of a foldable phone, but not sure how much I'd like having one as my daily driver.

  5. i try to but s21 someone but it with locked USA Serial number but he say he unlocked it legal way how can i check it please 😓😓

  6. By the time it's released it'll use an SoC that's comparable to the last gen snapdragon SoC, be priced too high, and people will ignore it. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 electric boogaloo, anyone?

  7. I assume as they are in a "partnership" with Samsung, that Google will have to be more expensive and sell low volume so as not to damage Samsung Fold sales? There have been very few clues that the foldable market is expanding rapidly, so new entrants are mostly competing for the same niche users that have bought into the form factor, hoping they will have limitless pockets and keep upgrading for seemingly minor improvements which do not even match phones at half the price!

I am sure the tech is cool, but so far, paying $2000 for the Fold/2 has been really for those that can afford to have several phones so are not inconvenienced by carrying a brick with them all the time! It has a long way to go to feed the average consumer psyche.

  8. foldables are cool but I just don't see the real benefit of them. I mean really are you going to pay 1500 for a wide angle selfie? I am starting to think of the phrase "Jack of all trades master of none" with foldables. Yes a bigger screen is nice but it still not a laptop. and it too clunky of a phone.

  9. If they get the hardware right (which from past examples is doubtful) then the Pixel Fold will be the best Android foldable. Because Google will optimise the software better for the form factor than Samsung or Huawei have, due to it being baked into Android rather than added

  10. You can guarantee it will be done properly unlike the terrible Samsung attempt at a fold phone. The screen will be so much better with clean Google Experience unlike TouchWiz..

  11. The most exciting is watching xiaomi and other Chinese companies copying it later making more competition

  12. Im starting to lose any fucks to give about phones. like what more do we want?? it does everything we need it to do. Phones might end up making life more complex then simpler like they intended to be.
