This makes perfect sense because in the United States private businesses don't already have the right to refuse business to anyone on non-discriminatory grounds. This executive order is very-clearly useful and not at all meaningless. Also, since the executive branch can issue executive orders that can absolutely override the legislative branches' laws because there's no separation of powers, this is 100% legally solid and a smart move. I am so glad to live in a country where the average citizen clearly understands their rights and laws.
