Let's see?..…So it's only important for Trump to have Free speech but if people who comment on his Twitter or Twitter executives themselves exercise their freedom of speech rights by disagreeing with him in a healthy debate and keep this in mind not just regarding an opinion but supplying proof of fact to conflict the lies he just posted….and he lashes out like a poisonous snake!!!! Twitter executives are such God damn hypocrites and weaklings! Yet Twitter ignored him did not respond and did not remove it! And after 3 years of abuse from Trump and misinformation spreading lies to the entire world they finally grow a pair of balls and decide to fact-check him on "mail-in voting" procedures!!? Which is an important subject yes but after all his vile messaging this is what they respond to are you kidding me??? Trump is a vengeful unhinged narcissistic demented psychopathic child! I just read the presidents executive order
It's really well written.
Essentially the gist of it is..
Currently sites like Twitter are protected by a law that prevents them from being liable in the event one of there users says something defaming or illegal.
The thing about this is that law was designed for platforms and not content creators.
Once they pick and choose what to show and not show based on there opinions, they go from platform to editorial (content creator)
By doing so they give up there right to be protected against defamation lawsuits.
So essentially if twitter wants to keep censoring people they disagree with they will lose all shielding from litigation
