  1. With the enhanced unemployment benefits I can still pay my rent but without it definitely not. Many businesses are either not reopening or reopening with limited staff. I can see a reasonable phase down plan for the enhanced unemployment benefits but to end it in July would be devastating

  2. do they mean in numbers or the percent of the population? since there are millions more people now in the us compared to the late 20's

  3. I’ve been applying to bjs ,Target , McDonald’s, petsmart , Taco Bell, Chipotle, etc & nothing I was working at amazon but I had to leave cause of college but they weren’t allowing any transfers

  4. “The police should do nothing to the protest”.That's What the US government tells to Hong Kong, even though so much looting and violence took place. So please uphold your own beliefs. And we will see how it plays out on American land.

  5. I’m pretty sure the CEO of goodwill embezzled millions of dollars made from selling donations, instead of the money going back into the store and making it better and paying employees and such. That’s what a non profit is supposed to do. I don’t think goodwill is one of them. A lack of goodwill, one might say.

  6. People better demand a Basic Universal Income from Congress, before these rich Congress people really go into deep hiding. Get that safety net for yourselves when the jobs do not pan out. Or start investigating what is the best tent ⛺️ to live in with your particular environment ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

  7. 🐍 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍 It is time for GREEDY Snake Slavery Wages Employers to go the other way.

WE just are not that into you ⚠️

Let FAIR better paying Employers get a shot this time around at the table of Commerce.

    Time for RESET❗️

  8. People need jobs, not training. America’s infrastructure needs to be rebuilt. Let’s rebuild it! That’s what FDR did.

But instead we’re doing retraining for jobs that just aren’t there. “Learn to code” is such a neo-liberal mantra it drives me nuts.

  9. Where am I supposed to work. Theres a dollar store, a McDonald's, and a gas station here. That was the only jobs before the virus

  10. Take a look where the biggest unemployment numbers are at. The blue states where the government still won't open. Where they don't want anyone going back to work.

  11. Any idiot gets it by now. It's been 3 long years since Trump took office. And it has been one chaos after another. I can't remember a peaceful time anymore. He said he will make America Great again. I see no greatest but disaster after disaster, chaos after chaos, and we have no friends in the world left (not even Canada). Trump has managed to destroy everything all Presidents in the past have built for America. American's lives are worst than 2008 or 1929! People live from paycheck to paycheck with "jig" jobs that are starving wages. This is called Greatness? This is called "Idiotness"!
